    BARE.AI Issue 2: Marianna

    Marianna Bears All

With Issue 2, BARE.AI was beginning to find its identity.

Marianna was one of the early models who helped shape what the magazine would become. Her look was glamorous, confident, and unmistakably BARE.AI. The concept was still evolving, but the goal was already clear: create a magazine centered around AI-generated beauty and photography that could exist entirely in its own world.

Issue 2 is a snapshot of that early period.

Marianna brought a different personality to the pages. Her images move between playful, glamorous, and boldly sensual, giving the issue a visual variety that keeps it from feeling like simply a collection of similar photographs. She was created to be more than a pretty face—she became a character with her own presence.

Looking back at these early issues is interesting because BARE.AI has changed considerably since then. The technology has improved, the photography has become more sophisticated, and the magazine itself has grown into a much larger project. But the basic idea remains the same: create something that could never have existed without AI.

Marianna’s issue is part of that beginning.

Issue 2 also represents something important about the BARE.AI project: experimentation. Every issue has been an opportunity to try different looks, settings, styles, and ideas. Some became part of the magazine’s identity while others simply became stepping stones toward what came next.

That’s what makes the early issues worth preserving.

Marianna was there near the beginning, when BARE.AI was still discovering exactly what it could become.

And now, years and many issues later, Issue 2 remains part of the history of how it all started.

Meet Ella Eriksson — The First BARE.AI Model

Every world has a beginning. For BARE.AI Magazine, that beginning was Ella Eriksson.

Ella was the first model created for BARE.AI, long before the magazine had dozens of issues, multiple characters, or an entire universe of stories surrounding it. She was the starting point—the first face that helped define what BARE.AI could become.

Born in Sweden, Ella brings a distinctly Scandinavian look and style to the BARE.AI world. Blonde, confident, and effortlessly glamorous,

she quickly became one of the most recognizable faces associated with the project.

But Ella’s importance goes beyond simply being the first model.

When BARE.AI was getting started, there was no established formula. There were no finished magazines to look at, no collection of characters to build around, and no idea how large the project might eventually become. Ella was created during that experimental period when the goal was simply to see what could be done.

One image became another. Different locations, outfits, moods, and styles followed. Eventually, Ella began to feel less like a collection of generated images and more like a character with her own identity.

That became one of the most interesting things about BARE.AI.

The models aren’t simply interchangeable faces. Each one develops a personality and a visual identity of her own.

    Ella became the glamorous one.

She can appear sophisticated and elegant in one shoot, playful in another, and completely confident in something more daring. That flexibility is part of what makes her such an important part of the BARE.AI story.

As the project expanded, new models arrived. Different personalities and different looks began to fill the pages of the magazines. Eventually, characters such as Mio Sone and the women of The Outlaws created entirely new directions for the BARE.AI universe.

But Ella remains where it all started.

There’s also something appropriate about having a Swedish model as the first face of a project built around the possibilities of artificial intelligence. BARE.AI isn’t intended to represent a traditional modeling agency or a collection of real-world photographs. It is a creative experiment—using AI to build images, characters, stories, magazines, music, and entire fictional worlds.

    Ella was the first step.

Today, BARE.AI has grown far beyond that original experiment. There are magazines to explore, models with their own stories, and new ideas constantly being developed. But whenever the history of BARE.AI is traced back to its beginning, one name will always be there.

    Ella Eriksson.

    The first BARE.AI model.

And every journey has to start somewhere.
